  Analysis of the students:

  Most of the students are eagering to have English classes, they are very confident in themselves. Our shool is a bilingual one which focuses a lot on English learning, so most of the students have a very good foundation for English. They have learned these language points in grade one : “run, dance, swim, sing, walk, jump” and “Can you.. ? Yes, I can. No, I can’t.” Students can listen to and do actions according to the orders. Therefore, the students have reserved some knowlege for this lesson.

  1.本冊(cè)共有6個(gè)語(yǔ)言功能單元,本單元《I can climb》共有4個(gè)課時(shí),本課時(shí)是本單元的第三課時(shí)。

  2.從教學(xué)題材上來(lái)說(shuō),是圍繞談?wù)搨(gè)人能力的話題。這樣的話題跟學(xué)生的生活實(shí)際有密切的聯(lián)系,能引起孩子積極的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。第一課時(shí)圍繞的Text和Words to Learn兩個(gè)版塊讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)詢問(wèn)對(duì)方及描述某人是否能做某事,如Can you …? I can/ She can/ He can …。旨在讓學(xué)生掌握基本句型和重點(diǎn)單詞;第二課時(shí)《Talk Together》是第一課時(shí)的鞏固拓展部分,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)在真實(shí)的情景中靈活運(yùn)用所學(xué)的句子進(jìn)行交際。如Can you fly?   Students’ activity: Do some daily greetings, such as: How are you?/ Can you … very well?

  Students’activity: Students read the action words (run, dance,swim,sing,read,write,walk,talk,jump,draw) which were learned in the previous lessons while doing actions.

  Purpose for warming-up: Quick and fun warming up activity can make a warm classroom atmosphere in which the students would feel relaxed and cheerful.

  2. Preview: ( 5 minutes)

  ①A guessing game to introduce the main character and the title.

  Students’activity: Ss guess what the teacher draws on the Bb. They will be given more and more tips to guess the answer---a turtle. Then read the title for this lesson: Uncle Booky’s Storytime.

  Students’activity: The Ss act as little turtle,they stand up and sing this song <> actively with the teacher.

  ③Do a puzzle to lead in the characters for this story.

  Students’activity: There are some animal pictures and some grass pictures on the blackboard. Students will see the eyes for each animal hidden behind the grass. They will guess what animal it is: It’s a bird, a monkey, a butterfly, a frog, a fish. 5 Ss come to the Bb to do the puzzle for the above animal pictures.

  3.Presentation ( 7 minutes)

  ②Introduce the story to the students.

  Students’activity: Teacher acts as Little Turtle and says, “I am sad, I am not happy.”Ss listen to a question before they watch the flash for the story. The question is: Why am I sad?

  ③Students answer the above question.

  Students’activity: Students will answer the above question after they watch the flash. They will be guided to answer, “Because I can’t sing/climb/… .”

  Purpose for presentation: The above steps are based on task—based languange teaching. The teacher gives a task to the Ss, then the Ss finish the task while their language skills are to be developed.

  本節(jié)教學(xué)層層遞進(jìn),環(huán)環(huán)相扣。由于活動(dòng)形式多樣,非常吸引學(xué)生,如:①我開(kāi)始在黑板上畫(huà)一筆問(wèn)“What’s this?”讓學(xué)生去猜時(shí),開(kāi)始學(xué)生并沒(méi)猜中,并且答案五花八門(mén):ear; snake; butterfly等。我再逐漸增畫(huà)幾筆后學(xué)生就猜出是烏龜了。在教學(xué)中,我會(huì)根據(jù)課文的需要,向?qū)W生展示一幅色彩絢麗的圖畫(huà),形象直觀、生動(dòng)活潑。不但有助于學(xué)生直接理解所學(xué)的內(nèi)容,而且便于加深印象,強(qiáng)化記憶,訓(xùn)練口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力,以“趣”為核心,又能喚起學(xué)生濃厚的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。②我把5個(gè)小動(dòng)物的眼睛從草叢中神秘地展示到黑板上,問(wèn)“Whose eyes?”再把提前分割成好幾塊的小動(dòng)物的身體分給學(xué)生,“These are their bodies.”進(jìn)而請(qǐng)他們上來(lái)做拼圖環(huán)節(jié)。全體學(xué)生積極參與,打破了沉悶的教學(xué)氣氛,給課堂帶來(lái)了勃勃生氣。又如:老師在引入句子Can I join you?   我認(rèn)為本節(jié)課還有不足之處:例如:在做拼動(dòng)物圖片的環(huán)節(jié)中,是由我直接把各個(gè)動(dòng)物的身體派給幾個(gè)同學(xué),讓他們自己拼自己的動(dòng)物。大部分沒(méi)有被邀請(qǐng)到參加拼圖活動(dòng)的同學(xué)都十分渴望得到這個(gè)機(jī)會(huì),如果把這些動(dòng)物的身體都隨意地裝在一個(gè)袋子里,他們要挑出自己要拼的動(dòng)物身體部分,然后在老師給出規(guī)定的時(shí)間進(jìn)行拼圖比賽。那么全班剩下沒(méi)有參加做拼圖的同學(xué)就要按照分工集中注意力做評(píng)判。這樣改進(jìn)后,就能在有限的時(shí)間內(nèi),達(dá)到事半功倍的效果。

  對(duì)于剛接觸英語(yǔ)不久的二年級(jí)學(xué)生而言,英語(yǔ)課令人向往且神秘。他們渴望在課堂上有好的表現(xiàn),吸引老師和其他同學(xué)的注意,卻又懼怕說(shuō)錯(cuò)了惹人笑話。在這堂課上,老師給了他們最好的禮物:一個(gè)寬松、和諧的學(xué)習(xí)氛圍,讓他們沒(méi)有心理負(fù)擔(dān)地開(kāi)始英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的第一步。

  老師引入新授內(nèi)容的方法很自然,感覺(jué)不到她的做作;學(xué)生對(duì)于精美的黑板設(shè)計(jì)很有興趣,參加課堂活動(dòng)的興致也很高,達(dá)到了預(yù)期的效果。

  在這個(gè)單元里,前面的教學(xué)已有大量的知識(shí)鋪墊,這節(jié)課的要求是讓學(xué)生有條理的把故事表達(dá)出來(lái),讓學(xué)生在這些情景中自由發(fā)揮想象,自由表演這些故事情節(jié),自由運(yùn)用所學(xué)的英語(yǔ)知識(shí),在活動(dòng)和表演中共同把故事講完。戲劇表演既鍛煉了學(xué)生的聽(tīng)力,又發(fā)揮了他們的想象,既操練了他們的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力,又滿足了他們的表現(xiàn)欲望,既活躍了課堂氣氛,又把整個(gè)課堂變成了一幕幕生活場(chǎng)景。

  新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)從某種意義上說(shuō)對(duì)老師提出了更高的要求,作為英語(yǔ)老師,我們要及時(shí)轉(zhuǎn)換自己的角色和觀念,做一名出色的節(jié)目主持人,組織好每一項(xiàng)課堂活動(dòng),把表演的機(jī)會(huì)給學(xué)生,讓學(xué)生成為真正的“主角”,讓學(xué)生時(shí)刻處在體驗(yàn),實(shí)踐,參與,合作與交流的活動(dòng)中,使他們的語(yǔ)言技能,語(yǔ)言知識(shí),情感態(tài)度,學(xué)習(xí)策略和文化意識(shí)等素養(yǎng)得到整體發(fā)展。

  在設(shè)計(jì)上,老師別出心裁,各部分都比較實(shí)用且恰到好處.譬如,讓孩子拼圖那部分,孩子興趣很高,而且把課堂引入到了一個(gè)小小的高潮。對(duì)于低年級(jí)的孩子來(lái)說(shuō),老師在這一點(diǎn)上貫徹了鍛煉學(xué)生動(dòng)口動(dòng)手動(dòng)腦的的能力,符合新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。對(duì)復(fù)習(xí)單詞的那部分,我認(rèn)為也是比較新穎的。整節(jié)課老師的狀態(tài)都非常好,可見(jiàn)老師的用心,那么多的道具讓孩子眼前一亮,感覺(jué)好象是帶他們到了一個(gè)動(dòng)物世界。那么多的游戲,讓他們覺(jué)得上這樣的課好幸福。新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中提到:寓教于樂(lè),我想,老師做到了!

  對(duì)于該堂課,如果在表演之前,老師能將文中重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)進(jìn)一步突破,顧及到大部分孩子,我認(rèn)為在表演的時(shí)候能更加順暢,而且表演是一個(gè)讓孩子自由發(fā)揮的機(jī)會(huì),也就是說(shuō),可以在表演的時(shí)候有自己的內(nèi)容,這樣一來(lái)可以培養(yǎng)孩子的創(chuàng)新思維,也能豐富孩子的表演。同時(shí),本堂課在如何體現(xiàn)分層次教學(xué)上,可以值得反思。畢竟,一個(gè)班的孩子參差不齊,如何讓他們各有所學(xué),在設(shè)計(jì)上可以有一個(gè)過(guò)渡。

  總之,這是一堂精彩的課,值得孩子學(xué)習(xí),更值得我們老師學(xué)習(xí)。

  1、學(xué)生分7個(gè)人一小組坐,教室的桌椅擺放要注意留出一塊地方給學(xué)生走動(dòng),讓他們有表演的空間。

  2、老師最好能給每個(gè)小組準(zhǔn)備好表演用的頭飾,雖然教具準(zhǔn)備會(huì)很煩瑣并且工作量大,但教學(xué)效果會(huì)好很多。
