　　閱讀的好處 The Benefit of Reading

　　Speaking of reading, manypeople are excited because reading brings them both knowledge andentertainment. By reading, we can learn lots of information and know ourhistory. But for some people, reading is not their priority. They will chooseto watch movies to have fun. However, I think people can benefit a lot byreading.

　　說起讀書，很多人都很興奮，讀書不僅能帶給他們知識(shí)，而且也能帶給他們娛樂。通過讀書，我們能得到很多信息，了解我們的歷史。但是對(duì)于一部分人來說，閱讀并不是他們的首選。他們會(huì)選擇看電影來找樂子。但是，我認(rèn)為，讀書能讓我們獲益。

　　First of all, reading can let us know whathave happened in history. Since history is recorded in books, if we read books,then we can not only what have happened in history but also we can betterunderstand the great figures of the age.

　　第一，讀書能讓我們知道歷史。歷史都被記錄在數(shù)中，如果我們讀書的話，我們不僅能了解歷史，而且我們也能更加了解時(shí)代偉人。

　　Secondly, reading can enrich our knowledge.By reading, we can know different kinds of things, how things happen and how toavoid bad things from happening. Books record a wide range of things aboutlife. Through reading, we can know various aspects of life.

　　第二，讀書能讓我們豐富我們的知識(shí)。通過讀書，我們能了解很多事物，了解到事件是怎么發(fā)生的，怎么避免不利事件的發(fā)生。書本記錄著社會(huì)的方方面面。通過讀書，我們能了解生活的方方面面的知識(shí)。

　　Thirdly, reading teaches us skills. Thereare so many books about how to learn a certain language, how to get a good job,how to become popular in your circle, how to cook and so on. Thus, these kindsof books can make us more skillful if we do a certain thing.

　　第三，我們能通過讀書來學(xué)習(xí)一些技能。很多書都是寫關(guān)于怎么學(xué)會(huì)一門語(yǔ)言，怎么找到一份好工作，怎么讓自己在圈子中更受歡迎以及怎么烹飪等之類的東西。通過這些書，我們能在做事的時(shí)候更加熟練。

　　All in all, we can find lots of benefitsthrough reading.

　　Manypeople, including some college students hold the opinion that it’s no use tocome to college which is a waste of time. Students cannot learn what they needin their future work. So why do we study hard for the college entranceexamination and get to a better the college?

　　許多人，包括一些大學(xué)生認(rèn)為上大學(xué)是沒有用的，是在浪費(fèi)時(shí)間。學(xué)生不能學(xué)到他們?cè)诮窈蟮墓ぷ髦行枰�的知識(shí)。所以為什么我們要努力高考來進(jìn)入一所更好的大學(xué)？

　　It’sa common phenomenon that students consider the college entrance examination astheir destination in learning career. They don’t pay much attention to theircollege study. So do I. I couldn't fall asleep the night when the collegeentrance examination was over. I didn’t know what I should do tomorrow. Mainlybecause I was told that college life is relaxed.

　　However,obviously, you can choose a hardworking life which makes your life in collegemore meaningful. You can do a part time job in your spare time, you can joinsome associations, or you can study hard in one field, which can benefit toyou. Don’t forget to make full use of library that is the most beautifulscenery in college.

　　Inrecent years, being a village official has become the first choice of manycollege graduates. To this phenomenon, different people have different opinionson it.

　　近年來，村官已成為許多大學(xué)畢業(yè)生就業(yè)的首選。針對(duì)這一現(xiàn)象，不同的人對(duì)此有不同的看法。

　　Somepeople hold the positive attitude towards it. First, they consider it's aneffective way to ease employment pressure in major cities as well as satisfythe need for talent in rural areas. Besides, the government is trying toencourage college students to seek jobs in under-developed regions. Second,college students have a great deal of knowledge which can make contribution tomore people. Last but not least, college students also can broaden their eye inthe countryside as well as improve their adaptability to differentcircumstances, both of which are believed to be beneficial to their future development.

　　一些人對(duì)此持著積極的態(tài)度。首先，他們認(rèn)為這是在主要城市緩解就業(yè)壓力和滿足農(nóng)村人才需求的有效方法。此外，政府試圖鼓勵(lì)大學(xué)生在欠發(fā)達(dá)地區(qū)找工作。第二，大學(xué)生擁有可以為人們做更大貢獻(xiàn)的知識(shí)。最后但并非最不重要的，在農(nóng)村大學(xué)生也可以開闊視野而且還可以提高他們對(duì)不同環(huán)境的適應(yīng)能力，這兩者都被認(rèn)為對(duì)他們的未來發(fā)展是有益的。

　　However,others are against it. In their opinion, if college students work as a villageofficial, they can't apply their professional knowledge that they learn in school.Worse still, they can't meet their parents' aim that lives a comfortable lifein the major city.

　　然而，另一些人則是持反對(duì)態(tài)度。在他們覺得如果大學(xué)生做村官，他們不能學(xué)以致用。更糟的是，他們不能滿足他們父母希望他們舒適的生活在大城市中的期待。

　　Asfar as I'm concerned, I consider working as a village official is worthpromoting. It's feasible that some graduates may employ the job as a spring-boardin order to receive the favorable treatment. With the participation of so manycollege students, we have reasons to believe that it will not take unduly longto realize the blueprint of constructing new village jobs for graduates.

　　我認(rèn)為做村官是值得的。為了得到可觀的待遇，一些畢業(yè)生把這當(dāng)成是一個(gè)跳板也是可行的。有了那么多大學(xué)生的參與，我們有理由相信對(duì)于大學(xué)生來說構(gòu)建新農(nóng)村的藍(lán)圖并不是夸大的。

　　上學(xué)的理由The Reasons of Going to School

　　When I saw the movie The God Must be Crazy, I was laughing so happily, the movie tells about the uncivilized world and the civilized world, the former is simple and happy while the latter is complicated and sensitive. People nowadays have to go to school since they are small, most students keep studying until they are graduate from college. They go to school for many reasons.

　　當(dāng)我看到電影《上帝也瘋狂》的時(shí)候，我笑得很開心，電影展示了一個(gè)原始世界和一個(gè)文明世界，前者是簡(jiǎn)單而快樂，然而后者是很復(fù)雜和多愁善感的。如今人們?cè)诤苄〉臅r(shí)候不得不上學(xué)，大部分學(xué)生在大學(xué)畢業(yè)前一直在學(xué)習(xí)。人們上學(xué)是有很多原因的。

　　they go to school for learning knowledge, so that they can survive in the society. People live in the civilized world, they need to learn all kinds of skills, for the purpose of knowing the world and get used to the environment. Unlike the original world, people hunt for living, they don’t have so many things to learn, all they do is to find the food and keep themselves alive.

　　人們上學(xué)是為了學(xué)習(xí)知識(shí)，這樣他們才能在社會(huì)里生存。人們生活在一個(gè)文明的世界，他們需要學(xué)習(xí)各種各樣的技巧，為了了解世界和適應(yīng)環(huán)境。不像原始社會(huì)，人們靠打獵生存，他們沒有那么多的東西要學(xué)，他們所做的一切就是為了找到食物，讓自己生存下來。

　　People go to school also for the purpose of cultivating themselves with good merits. The world is full of regulations and people have the merit consciousness, to be a good person can make them become the member of the public, so people have to learn to be a person with good merit and make a contribution to the society.

　　人們上學(xué)也是為了培養(yǎng)美好的品德。世界充滿了規(guī)則，人們也有道德意識(shí)，成為一個(gè)好人能讓他們成為大眾的一員，所以人們不得不學(xué)著去成為一個(gè)用好良好品德的好人，對(duì)社會(huì)做貢獻(xiàn)。

　　In a word, people need to go to school to get used to the civilized world.

　　總的來說，人們需要上學(xué)，以此來適應(yīng)文明社會(huì)。

　　保護(hù)樹木Protect the Trees

　　Each year, people burn or cut down 143,000 square kilometers (55,000 square miles) of the forest. People who burn or cut down trees do it for different reasons: farmers cut down trees in order to get more fertilize lands to grow rice or vegetables, and use the woods as fuel. Timber companies cut down trees and turn them into furniture or paper productions. As to goal miners, they remove the forests to find out whether there are goal underground.

　　每一年，人們都會(huì)砍伐14.3萬(wàn)平方千米的森林（約5.5萬(wàn)平方英里）。人們砍伐樹木出于種種原因：農(nóng)民們?yōu)榱说玫礁�肥沃的空地來種植大米蔬菜，砍下的樹木用來取火。木材公司用樹木來制作家具或是各類紙制品。至于那些開采煤礦的人，把樹木砍掉就是為了檢測(cè)是否有煤礦在下面。

　　However, many of us fail to realize that forests are the lungs of the earth. When we cut down trees, we also push ourselves in to a dangerous situation. That is the global warming. When you come to think about it, there are only few ways to solve these negative effects: stop cutting down trees blindly; try to find some clear energy that can replace oil and coal. But these solutions can be impractical to some degreed.

　　然而，我們中的許多人都沒有意識(shí)到樹木等同于地球的“肺部”。當(dāng)我們砍伐樹木時(shí)，我們就把自己推入一個(gè)危險(xiǎn)的境地——會(huì)引起全球氣候變暖。想到這些，只有為數(shù)不多的幾個(gè)辦法可以解決這個(gè)問題：停止盲目地砍伐樹木；尋找可以代替石油和煤礦的新能源。但是，就目前來看，這幾個(gè)策略并不可行。

　　Why trees can be so important to the whole nature? First of all, trees are the habitat of many animals. When we cut down trees, we not only destroy animals’ habitats but also ourselves. We just gradually destroy natural links. The result is that many spices of animals and plants are dying out. Secondly, cutting down trees cause global warming, to some degree. Naturalists compare forest to human’s lungs. The forests absorb the carbon dioxide and other gas that cause global warming, and then give off the oxygen that good for the human beings and other living creatures. It’s refreshed the air as well as reduced the noise. If the air quality is bad, people may die from cancers, or the new diseases for which they have no immunity. Forests also play an important role in the prevention of natural disasters. Warmer temperatures cause water to expand and also create more water by melting polar ice caps. That’s to say, the nations which near the ocean may have been flooded by the water. But the forests can prevent water loss and soil erosion, and cool off the global temperatures. It’s the key to keep the balance of the nature.

　　為什么樹木對(duì)整個(gè)生態(tài)環(huán)境都如此重要呢？首先，樹木是小動(dòng)物們的家園。當(dāng)我們砍伐樹木時(shí)，我們不僅僅毀掉了它們的家，也毀掉了自己的。一步步的，我們慢慢分解了整個(gè)生態(tài)鏈，所造成的結(jié)果就是大批的動(dòng)植物種類滅絕。其二，砍伐樹木在某種程度上造成全球變暖。生態(tài)學(xué)家把森林比作人類的肺。森林能夠吸收二氧化碳和其他引起氣候變暖的.溫室氣體，然后轉(zhuǎn)化成氧氣供地球上的生物呼吸。樹木不僅能凈化空氣，也能減少噪音。如果空氣質(zhì)量下降，那么人們就有可能死于肺癌，或者是其他致命菌。森林在預(yù)防疾病的過程中起到了重要的角色。氣溫的上升導(dǎo)致北極的冰層融化，水平面上升。也就是說，臨海的城市也許會(huì)被海水淹沒。但是森林就能夠阻止水土流失，使氣溫下降。它是保證全球生態(tài)平衡的關(guān)鍵。

　　Sometimes people only care about money making; they don’t care about the price we pay for the pollution. When the disaster is around the corner, we may be afraid and frustrated. The earth, on which our economies have always been based, is suddenly threatening our existence. All we hope that is this overpopulated, over industrialized planet can carry on for a longer time. And maybe, it’s time for us to realize that we should protect the earth, stop cutting down trees blindly and madly.

　　有時(shí)候人們只關(guān)心掙錢，卻對(duì)我們所付出的代價(jià)不管不問。當(dāng)災(zāi)難來臨時(shí)，我們會(huì)害怕、會(huì)彷徨。我們賴以生存的地球，卻突然變成了威脅我們生命的東西。我們只希望，在這個(gè)人口過度、工業(yè)過度的星球能繼續(xù)撐下去。也許，是時(shí)候我們應(yīng)該保護(hù)地球，停止盲目瘋狂地砍伐樹木了。

　　護(hù)膚之道The Way to Protect the Skin

　　When the autumn comes, the air is so dry, people’s skin becomes dry, too, especially for the girls, they can’t stand their skin looks so old, they figure out all the ways to protect their skin and keep their skin smooth. Protecting the skin is very important, it can make people look younger and healthy. There are many ways to protect the skin.

　　當(dāng)秋天到來的時(shí)候，空氣很干燥，人們的皮膚也很干燥，特比是對(duì)于女孩子來說，他們不能忍受皮膚看起來那么老，她們想盡所有的方法來來保護(hù)皮膚，保持皮膚光滑。保護(hù)皮膚是很重要的，那能讓人看起來更加的年輕和健康。保護(hù)皮膚的方法有很多。

　　First, we need to drink more water. People’s body contains a lot of water, without water, there is no life. Water keeps people alive, when people feel thirsty, their bodies are lacking of water, they need to drink some water to gain the energy. When lacking water, people’s skin will wrinkle, it will make people look old, at this moment, people can drink more water to make the skin smooth.

　　第一，我們需要多喝點(diǎn)水。人們的身體內(nèi)含有很多的水分，沒有水分，就沒有生命。水讓人存活，當(dāng)人感到渴的時(shí)候，他們的身體缺少水分，需要喝水來增加能量。當(dāng)缺水的時(shí)候，人們的皮膚會(huì)變皺，讓人看起來顯老，同時(shí)，人們可以多喝水來讓他們的皮膚光滑。

　　Second, people can buy some skin protecting product, like the oil, they can paste the oil on the skin, the skin will gain some water, thus it will not lose a lot of water. The products are very helpful to keep the skin smooth.

　　第二，人們可以買一些護(hù)膚產(chǎn)品，比如油類，他們可以抹在臉上，皮膚就會(huì)吸水，這樣能保持水分的流失。這樣的產(chǎn)品在保持皮膚光滑方面非常有用。

　　Drinking more water and pasting the oil are the best ways to keep the skin smooth, for looking young, let’s protect the skin.

　　多喝點(diǎn)水和在臉上抹點(diǎn)油類是保持皮膚光滑的最好方法，為了顯得年輕，讓我們來護(hù)膚吧。
