初中英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法would rather如何使用

　　用法一： would rather表示"寧愿"

　　would rather do

　　would rather not do

　　would rather… than… 寧愿……而不愿。

　　還有would sooner,had rather,had sooner都表示"寧愿"、"寧可"的意思。

　　If I have a choice,I had sooner not continue my studies at this school.

　　I would rather stay here than go home. = I would stay here rather than go home.

　　用法二：would rather后句子用虛擬語(yǔ)氣

　　would rather后接句子時(shí)，句子謂語(yǔ)習(xí)慣上要用虛擬語(yǔ)氣，具體用法為：

　　1.一般過(guò)去時(shí)表示現(xiàn)在或?qū)��?lái)的愿望

　　I’d rather you went tomorrow (now). 我寧愿你明天(現(xiàn)在)去。

　　I’d rather you came next Saturday. 我寧愿你下星期六來(lái)。

　　I’d rather you were happy. 我愿你快樂(lè)。

　　I’d rather she sat next to me. 我寧愿她挨著我坐。

　　I’d rather Jack left on an earlier train. 我寧愿杰克乘前一班火車(chē)走。

　　You always go without me and l’d rather you didn’t. 你總是不帶我去，我可不愿意你這樣。

　　“Shall I open the window? ” “I’d rather you didn’t. ”“我要不要把窗子打開(kāi)? ” “我看不要打開(kāi)好�！�

　　2. 用過(guò)去完成時(shí)表過(guò)去的愿望

　　I’d rather you hadn’t said it. 我真希望你沒(méi)有這樣說(shuō)過(guò)。

　　I’d rather you hadn’t done that. 我寧愿你沒(méi)這樣做。

　　l’d rather you had been / hadn’t been present。我 (寧) 愿你當(dāng)時(shí)在場(chǎng) / 不在場(chǎng)。

　　l’d rather he had told / hadn’t told me about it 我 (寧) 愿他告訴了 / 未告訴我這件事。

　　Katie went by car and I’d rather she hadn’t. 凱蒂是坐汽車(chē)去的，我寧愿地不坐汽車(chē)去
