May: Why does he have such a privilege?
Boss: He used to be a hero during the war time and everyone respect him.
May: I see. Does he live by himself?
Boss: Yes, he has no children and his wife passed away when he was in the battle.
May: He must be lonely?
Boss: I bet. But he is always busy telling the children stories.
May: How respectable!

老板：阿美，讓他走吧。
阿美：但是他沒(méi)有付錢(qián)就把報(bào)紙拿走了。
老板：我知道。

老板：他住在附近，他只是瀏覽一下報(bào)紙的大標(biāo)題，等一下就會(huì)把報(bào)紙還回來(lái)的。
阿美：為什么他有這種特權(quán)呢?
老板：戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)時(shí)期他曾經(jīng)是個(gè)英雄，這里的人都尊敬他。
阿美：知道了，他一個(gè)人住嗎?
老板：是的`，他沒(méi)有孩子，他的妻子也在戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)時(shí)期去世了。
阿美：他一定很孤獨(dú)了?
老板：我猜是的。但是他總是忙著給孩子們講故事。
