Do you mind口語用法
(1)表示氣憤或反感，意為：請別這樣做;別來這一套;你怎么搞的;我可真火了。如：
Do you mind? I don‘t want to hear that kind oflanguage here. 別講了，我不許在這兒講這種話。
Do you mind? That‘s my foot you’re standing on. 怎么搞的? 你踩我的腳了。
A：Come on， my dear， let me have your kiss. 來吧，親愛的，吻我一下。
B：Do you mind! I hate you. 別來這一套，我討厭你。
(2)表示請求允許或征求對方意見 (后接動(dòng)名詞或 if 從句，其中 Do 也可換成 Would， 語氣更委婉)。意為：勞駕，你可否…… ;請你做…… 好嗎?如：
A：Do you mind shutting the door? 請你關(guān)上門好嗎?
B：Certainly not. 好。
A：Would you mind taking part? 請你參加你介意嗎?
B：No， I‘d love to. 不介意，我很愿意參加。
A：Would you mind if I smoke [my smoking]? 我抽煙你介意嗎?
B：Oh， please don‘t. 噢，請不要抽。
注：Do [Would] you mind…… 用來表示請求允許或征求對方意見時(shí)，要特別注意其答語。若是同意(即不介意)，用下列回答： No， that‘s all right (不介意，沒關(guān)系);No， go ahead， please (不介意，請.. . 吧);Certainly not (當(dāng)然不介意);Of course not (當(dāng)然不介意);No， not at all (一點(diǎn)也不介意);No， I don’t mind at all (一點(diǎn)也不介意)等。相反若是不同意(即介意)，通常用下列回答： Yes， I do mind (是的，我介意);Please don‘t (請別…… );Better not， please ( 請最好不要…… );I’d rather you didn‘t (我寧愿你不要……)。注意：這類問句的答語是針對 mind (介意)而言的。

一、mind的基本用法
Do [Would] you mind…?最通常的用法是表示請求允許或征求對方意見(后接動(dòng)名詞或 if從句，其中 Do也可換成 Would，語氣更委婉)，意為“勞駕”“你可否……?”“請你做……好嗎?”如：
Do you mind if I switch the radio off? 我可以關(guān)掉收音機(jī)嗎?
I think I’ll go along to the club this evening for a game of snooker. Do you mind? 今晚我想去俱樂部打落袋臺(tái)球，你看可以嗎?
二、mind的搭配用法
該句型的搭配應(yīng)注意以下幾點(diǎn)：
1. 其后可接if 從句，但不接whether從句。
2. 其后可接動(dòng)名詞，但不接不定式。如：
Would you mind helping me? 請幫幫我的忙好嗎?
Do you mind my closing the window? 我關(guān)上窗戶行嗎?
3. 可說Do you mind… 或 Would you mind…，但不說 Will you mind…。
4. Would you mind…后接if 從句時(shí)，從句謂語通常要用過去式。如：
Would you mind if I closed the window? 我把窗戶關(guān)上你介意嗎?
三、mind的答語的用法
一般說來，同意用Yes, 不同意用No，這是許多同學(xué)牢記的一條重要規(guī)律。但是，對Do [Would] you mind... 來說，情況則完全相反。因?yàn)閷o [Would] you mind... 的回答，從本質(zhì)上說是對 mind 的回答，也就是說，若同意對方的請求，應(yīng)用 not mind(不介意)，若不同意對方的請求，則用mind(介意)。
