中國(guó)是發(fā)展中國(guó)家中的.大國(guó)，其工業(yè)化正在快速發(fā)展，環(huán)境問題也變得日益嚴(yán)峻，因此環(huán)境保護(hù)被國(guó)家視為一項(xiàng)基本國(guó)策。近年來，國(guó)家采取了很多措施來加強(qiáng)環(huán)境治理，如建立了世界著名的生態(tài)工程“三北防護(hù)林工程"(the Three-NorthShelter Forest Program)。此外，中國(guó)也在大力發(fā)展自然保護(hù)區(qū)，頒布了《環(huán)境保護(hù)法》(The law on Environmental Protection),加強(qiáng)環(huán)保意識(shí)和環(huán)保教育。目前，環(huán)境治理已取得明顯成效，大部分城市環(huán)境和農(nóng)業(yè)生態(tài)環(huán)境得到了很大改善，工業(yè)污染防治能力也大大提高。
