　　大家上午好!我叫鄭藝豐，是五年級(jí)五班一名學(xué)生。

　　隨著全球經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化的一加深和中國(guó)加入wto，作為世界通用語(yǔ)言的英語(yǔ)，其重要性越來(lái)越受人們深刻認(rèn)識(shí)。可以說(shuō)，英語(yǔ)在開(kāi)放后的中國(guó)社會(huì)中已成為人們的工作、學(xué)習(xí)、生活不可缺少的重要工具。無(wú)論是計(jì)算機(jī)使用，貿(mào)易、新聞、科研、設(shè)計(jì)等工作，都離不開(kāi)英語(yǔ)。

　　作為一名學(xué)生，更不能不重視英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)。無(wú)論是將來(lái)中考、高考，以及考研、出國(guó)，英語(yǔ)都是決定成敗的關(guān)鍵。精通英語(yǔ)，就多了一份通向成功的機(jī)會(huì)。有不少同學(xué)被英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)所困擾，那么怎樣才能擺脫困擾，提高英語(yǔ)水平呢、關(guān)鍵就在于能付提高英語(yǔ)學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)能力。

　　讓孩子在快樂(lè)的`狀態(tài)下學(xué)習(xí)是最有效的。把學(xué)習(xí)變成玩耍，孩子自然不會(huì)把學(xué)習(xí)當(dāng)成負(fù)擔(dān)。只要讓孩子對(duì)學(xué)習(xí)產(chǎn)生濃厚的性的興趣，學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)不再難，也不用家長(zhǎng)逼著去做題，逼著去上補(bǔ)習(xí)班、培訓(xùn)班，家長(zhǎng)也不用擔(dān)心孩子的學(xué)習(xí)。避苦趨樂(lè)，當(dāng)學(xué)習(xí)成為一件快樂(lè)的事情，孩子們“趨樂(lè)”而去，不用家長(zhǎng)和老師逼迫，就會(huì)主動(dòng)去做，而且會(huì)終身去做。

　　磨練意志，曾強(qiáng)修養(yǎng)。英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)不能一蹴而就，需要下工夫勤學(xué)和苦練。在學(xué)習(xí)中會(huì)不斷的遇到困難和受到挫折，需要堅(jiān)持不懈地努力和奮斗。知難而退的人 ，意志薄弱的人是學(xué)不好喝學(xué)不會(huì)英語(yǔ)的人是學(xué)不好和學(xué)不會(huì)英語(yǔ)的。

　　Stepping into the new century environment pollution has become more serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as water pollution air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on a planet which is full of pollution. where all these pollution comes from? To a large extend the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have more fuel people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street the gas stations are short of gasoline even the government has raise the price so many times in order to control the needs of gasoline but it’s still not working. Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance. However the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.

　　既然是花，就要開(kāi)放；既然是樹(shù)，就要為人們遮風(fēng)擋雨；既然是科學(xué)家，就要去探索人間的奧秘；既然是英語(yǔ)小組長(zhǎng)，就要為同學(xué)們服務(wù)。我之所以想競(jìng)選英語(yǔ)小組長(zhǎng)。是因?yàn)樾〗M長(zhǎng)能為大家服務(wù)，我也為能減輕老師的負(fù)擔(dān)而快樂(lè)，同時(shí)能激勵(lì)和督促我自己奮進(jìn)，向上。而且，我對(duì)英語(yǔ)有著深厚的興趣，在學(xué)習(xí)中能感受到許多快樂(lè)，我希望同學(xué)們也能體會(huì)到英語(yǔ)其中的樂(lè)趣。英語(yǔ)組長(zhǎng)，這個(gè)職業(yè)十分適合我。組長(zhǎng)可以幫老師抱作業(yè)，發(fā)作業(yè)，減少老師的負(fù)擔(dān)，組長(zhǎng)還必須登記作業(yè)，減少老師的麻煩，同時(shí)督促同學(xué)完成作業(yè)。

　　有的人認(rèn)為組長(zhǎng)是奴仆，中隊(duì)委、大隊(duì)委才重要，英語(yǔ)組長(zhǎng)和它們比起來(lái)看是差距很大，沒(méi)什么用，但我的感覺(jué)卻恰恰相反。我認(rèn)為中隊(duì)委、大隊(duì)委，他們的職位是為學(xué)校服務(wù)，而組長(zhǎng)是為班級(jí)服務(wù)，為小組服務(wù)，沒(méi)有優(yōu)秀的小組，哪有優(yōu)質(zhì)的大隊(duì)和先進(jìn)的學(xué)校呢？所以，別看不起組長(zhǎng)這個(gè)職位，哪怕這是一丁點(diǎn)兒“小官”，它管的`是小事，但是，它關(guān)系到一個(gè)集體，一個(gè)團(tuán)隊(duì)。我認(rèn)為組長(zhǎng)要有責(zé)任感，在覆行自己職責(zé)的同時(shí)，要嚴(yán)格要求自己。

　　We Are The World ,We Are The Future

　　Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.

　　We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshneof the deep spring of life.

　　A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d like to share it with all of you. Let’s show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. I have a short line of life.

　　What about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, let’s make a fist. Where is our future?

　　We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. Failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder.

　　As what I said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. The past has gone. Nothing we do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. 　　Let me begin my speech with a replay of scenes familiar to most, if not all, of those present here today.

　　take. take. take.. The relationship between a mother and a child always seems to follow such a pattern. I know my mother is always there for me, providing me with everything I need; from food to clothing, from tuition to pocket money. I never thought twice about all she did until one day she said,

　　Like a child endlessly asking, we humans, throughout history, have been continually demanding what we desire from nature. We enjoy the comfort and beauty of our furniture, yet we never bother to think about the serious soil erosion caused by deforestation. We take it for granted that we must warm ourselves in winter times, yet we seldom realize the burning away of precious natural resources.We appreciate all the prosperity from the development of modern industry, yet few would give the slightest consideration to the global air and water pollution caused by industrial wastes. Our ruthless exploitation has permanently impaired our mother earth.As we tragically learned from last summer's floods. We cannot continue our carelessness. Finally, standing here at the threshold of the 21st century, we cannot help thinking of our posterity. Nature is not only the mother of the present generation, but

　　also the mother of the generations to come. How severely our descendents will criticize us if we leave them a barren and lifeless mother? How much more they will appreciate us if we give them a world of harmony to inherit? Let us start respecting and caring for nature from now on.
